UV/vis SPECTROstar Omega – Absorption plate reader with spectrometer

SPECTROstar ® Omega is a specialized absorption microplate reader that can obtain a full absorption spectrum (220 – 1000 nm) in less than 1 second per well – no scanning required. This upgradeable reader offers the ultimate in flexibility to optimize settings for all absorbance-based tests. The compatibility of the LVis Plate allows low-volume sample measurements to be performed.

SPECTROstar Omega is a  specialized absorption microplate reader that can record the total absorption spectrum or simultaneously up to eight discrete wavelengths. Upgrades can turn the SPECTROstar Omega into a powerful multimode reader with up to seven detection modes, Simultaneous Dual Emission and an injector.

The upper heating plate of the annealing chamber operates at a temperature 0.5°C higher than the lower plate. This prevents the accumulation of steam on the lid or sealing gasket.
