Routine control of all steam sterilizers can be performed using an alternative Bowie Dick electronic tester based on DIN EN ISO 11140-4. In addition to considering steam penetration, the relevant sterilization parameters are controlled.

Bowie Dick Test
EBI Series 16 gives clear results in daily tests of air diffusion and water vapor penetration tests according to DIN EN 17665 and DIN EN 285.
The EBI 16 Series early warning system
enables early detection of possible errors in steam sterilization. Even small amounts of residual gas, which did not affect the error in the Bowie Dick test, were detected.
The EBI 16 vacuum test
enables reasonable vacuum testing, as well as non-pressurized sterilization processes, shown in accordance with DIN EN 285.
