Eosin – Secondary-Counter Stains

Eosin Y is an alcohol-based, ready-to-use secondary stain used primarily in histology for routine hematoxylin and eosin staining.

It may also be used in cytology for fast cytoplasmic staining of rush specimens also using the H&E technique.
