High-energy 450 kV mesofocus

With the EasyTom L 450 – High Energy, you can use a high-energy meso-focus X-ray generator up to 450 kV.Higher energy ensures exceptional X-ray penetration allowing for inspection of denser and thicker parts at resolutions down to 40µm!This functionality makes the EasyTom L 450 kV ideal for additive manufacturing, foundry, automotive, and even aerospace sectors.

Dedicated access ports and easy fixturing for cables and tubing

The EasyTom L makes it easy to organize your experiments.The system features dedicated access points for painless routing of cables and tubing ensuring smooth connectivity and convenient set-up of your experimental devices. The design includes a rotating stage through which cables and hoses can be easily guided to your devices. Strategically placed mounting points on the frame and ceiling increase the flexibility of your experimental setup, allowing you to adjust the arrangement to precisely meet the specific needs of each investigation.

Optional In-Situ stress cells

Variable source-detector distance and multiple detectors

The EasyTom L is exceptionally adaptable. It is capable of varying the distance between the source and detector= up to 1000 mm. The system is also able to accommodate and interchange a wide range of detectors including planar imagers and high-resolution cameras. You can adjust these parameters to meet the specific needs of each experiment, providing versatility and optimum quality in a single system.

The EasyTom L can accommodate a micro-focus generator (max resolution 2µm), a nano-focus generator (max resolution 0.4µm), or both. If your needs evolve over the years, the system has been designed to allow a second tube to be installed directly at your site, combining versatility and upgradability. Switching from one tube to the other takes just a few seconds, at the touch of a button.

Its compact design does not sacrifice its scanning ability.  It offers a large scan volume up to a maximum Ø of 450 mm and a maximum height of 640 mm. Built on a high-precision granite base, the EasyTom L offers optimum sub-micro performance. Thanks to a 1000 mm SDD and a 3-axis moving detector, you can carry out simple scans more rapidly. A larger SDD means you can scan larger parts, maintain a wider field of view, achieve even greater magnification, and experience less cone beam artifacts.
